PAC Attack
Public companies run political action committees, and those PACs write cheques to members of Congress. Every cheque is filed with the FEC. This page joins that filing data to the company's stock ticker so you can see which corporations fund which politicians, how much, and in which election cycle.
The name is a joke; the money is legal and public. A corporate PAC is funded by voluntary employee contributions, and federal law caps what it may give. Appearing here is not evidence of wrongdoing. Negative amounts are refunds or corrections, so contributions, refunds and the net are always shown separately.
